“Hi there, my name is Jackie Lane, and I am running for Clark County Charter Commission, District 2 | Position 2.

My husband and I have lived in Clark County for nearly thirty years. I have been watching county politics for a lot of that time, attending meetings or catching them on CVTV depending on the agenda.”

“I followed the development of the charter closely, attending meetings and reading the materials. When the Freeholders were done, I worked on the Vote Charter Yes campaign.

Now it is time for the 5 year charter review. I am seeking a position on the Charter Review Commission to explore possibilities and see to it that the recommendations for Charter updates serve the community of Clark County well and improve government. These will then be voted on by the citizens of Clark County.”

Jackie worked in technology for about 40 years, starting as a systems engineer, and holding management and project management positions in various  industries.
